The 3 different generations of chlorine dioxide products

Here we explain the three different generations of chlorine dioxide products with their various advantages and disadvantages. As biocides, all of them are highly effective in combating bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores, algae, mites, parasites, biofilms and other pathogenic germs such as dangerous Legionella bacteria.

1st generation: MMS-CLASSIC

With this robust and proven variant, you receive one bottle of 25% sodium chlorite and one bottle of 4% HCl activator. With a simple mixing ratio of 1 to 1 (drops), you can create a highly effective chlorine dioxide solution with an acidic pH value.

The big advantage? With each application, you only activate the exact amount you need. This ensures that you always work with fresh chlorine dioxide. The basic ingredients in both bottles remain unrefrigerated for up to 5 years. MMS CLASSIC is therefore particularly recommended if you do not have a cooling system or if you are permanently in a very hot climate.

Important: Never use just one component on its own, always use our original AQUARIUS pro life products together!

2nd generation: CDSpure®

Until now, ready-to-use chlorine dioxide products had one major disadvantage. Their shelf life was limited, forcing you to compensate for their declining effectiveness by increasing the dosage. To solve this problem, we developed CDSpure® for you.

Unopened, you can rely on a constant active ingredient content for at least 2 years, even without refrigeration. Highly pure and nano-filtered, you have a pH-neutral solution at your disposal for use.

Thanks to a special manufacturing technique, we are the only supplier to offer you a 100% chlorine-free ready-to-use solution, which significantly improves tolerability.

Once opened, CDSpure® can be refrigerated for up to 9 months, serving as a reliable companion in the fight against germs. If you are looking for a ready-to-use chlorine dioxide product of the highest quality, CDSpure® is the right choice for you.
